PSSD software on M Chip Macs

My Samsung Portable SSD software does not work properly on my MacPC with an Apple M1 chip.

This is due to a policy requiring user approval when installing third-party software that is not directly distributed by Apple on the newly released MacPCs (Apple M1 chip + macOS Big Sur).

To solve the problem, follow the steps below:

1. On your system, navigate to Utilities > Startup Security Utility > “Security Policy” > “Reduced Security” > Check the box next to "Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers"
2. Once you have changed your settings, reboot your computer.
3. Go to https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools/. Download and install the updated version of the Portable SSD software, “Portable SSD Software 1.0 for Mac (The macOS Big Sur user's only).
